If the device is really launched in the market, it will be the most significant venture of Google into the hardware market. At the initial stage, Google is expecting that users will listen to music through it. But there may be further uses when they will go on adding features to the device in the future.

Google, till now generates its maximum revenue from Internet search and now wants to enter other areas, just like their competitors. Now Google plans to make an entertainment device for the common people.
