EeePad By ASUS To Compete With Apple iPad

 

Asus EeePadASUS has released a tablet shaped device which is very quite similar to that of iPAd from Apple. The device which is named as Eee Pad  by ASUS is expected to run on Windows 7 Operating system. Eee Pad has included a webcam and it is also supported by flash video technology. The size of the display screen is around 10 inches by 12 inches and the price of the high tech device is most likely to start from a price of $399.
Jerry Shen, Chief executive of ASUS, said, “the Eee Pad would provide users with a real-time cloud computing experience, and would double as a personal media player, ebook reader and compact computing device, offering around 10 hours of battery life.”
The market for Eee Pad seems to face tough competition as Dell also launched the new Streak which is a compact touchscreen tablet runs on Android operating system. In the meantime, Apple has announced that two million iPads has been sold worldwide after April.
