Faster Internet speeds are what coming in the near future as the German tech giant AT&T last week disclosed about its plan for rolling out the 4G LTE service in Muncie area soon. AT&T is committed to bring about faster Internet service for mobile phones.
However, the announcement follows the late January announcement by Verizon Wireless that the company was planning to expand its Indiana 4G LTE network.
On the other hand, AT&T claimed the LTE service would lower latency that means the time required for moving data through an Internet network. Moreover, the company claimed a comparatively lower latency rate is capable of improving video calling & mobile gaming.
AT&T also said it is interested to implement its 4G LTE in Muncie, Lafayette and Bloomington.
Turning to Verizon, the company unveiled that it would introduce new cell sites & upgrade equipment for boosting coverage & capacity for voice & data.
