Google planning to come up with a 7 inch tablet

Google is planning to come up with a 7 inch tablet PC with Asustek computers as its co-brand. After around 2 years and 6 months of its first launch, Google’s new tablet will be available in stores from around August or late July as said by Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google.

Nexus One, the first consumer android tablet, launched by Google in collaboration with HTC, was not a huge success as the gadget was only available via online orders and so, the users couldn’t practically experience it’s responsiveness and real look. Learning from this mistake, Google changed its policies, thus giving the later version like Nexus S, Nexus S2 and Nexus Galaxy a better success.

This upcoming launch will have a much lower price. The price factor happens to be a major attraction of this gadget. The tab will be a Wi-Fi-only one and will have Ice-Cream sandwich OS (Google Android4.0). The gadget will be powered by a quad-core processor of Nvidia Tegra3 version.
