There has been a lot of buzz on this web chat service and at last today at last after months of speculation they launched it at an event in New York. The Airtime is an evolved version of the popular video service Chatroulette. Chatroulette has been popular among the young generation as it randomly matches up people for video chatting. However This new version focuses on matching up people with common interest and social connection.

Although the Napster eventually faded away but it certainly changed how the music industry operates. According to USA TODAY, Parker and Fanning is expecting similar sort of response with this new service. They have launched this service at a star-studded press conference with the presence of Snoop Dogg and Jimmy Fallon. Since the app is made compatible with Facebook so the possibility of a positive response from the crowd is even more.
