iOS 6 Unveiled By Apple At WWDC 2012

Apple iOS 6Today on 12th June 2012 Apple has completed their keynote for WWDC 2012 and has announced the fall 2012 release of iOS 6 which is going to be something very special with upcoming attractive features. The iOS 6 is now available for the developers in beta form and Apple is planning its fall release which will support iPod Touch 4th Generation, iPad 2 and above and iPhone 3GS and above versions.

According to Apple, iOS 6 will have Apple’s own map service, iCloud support in safari, Facebook integration, greater and better Siri integration and some other updated versions of iOS features.Apple also mentioned to update their operating system which will be an easier and flexible way of enjoying iOS for users.

All new Siri:Siri couldn’t attract people so much as Apple assumed earlier but this time Apple has announced an improvement in Siri voice command service and it is getting much more integration with operating system. Local search is going to be available outside of the United States for the very first time through this. One will also be able to find out using Siri how his favorite team is doing.Apple has also announced a physical button for Siri ‘Eyes Free’ on the steering wheels of the associated car manufacturers so that one can use Siri hands-free while driving.

Apple Map:Though Apple is not saying that they are dropping Google map, they announced and previewed the new Apple map of iOS 6 on iPad. In this map Apple has included 3D map, Yelp integration and local search. Traffic navigation (turn by turn) will be built in and Siri will be integrated with the map. But still we can’t say that the new Apple map will be better than Google map as the demo was shown on iPad and still it needs development.
