PlayStation Plus Launched By Sony At E3 2010

Sony was busy at E3 2010 launching games and PlayStation Plus. The PlayStation Plus is the new subscription package for PlayStation Network. Its a paid Online service which was in great demand and finally Sony unveiled it at E3 2010.

The subscription package of Sony PlayStation Plus offers free games, avatars etc. There are also exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store for members. Moreover you get an early access to demos and beta trials. Additionally you can also avail one hour trials of full games. Game demos and updates can be downloaded automatically as well.

This great online service from Sony is available for users to subscription from June 29. The pricing also differs with different regions. American users can avail this service for $49 yearly. There are also flexible options such as a 3 month Subscription for $18. Sony has suggested that this service is completely optional and intended to provide special offers for those who are willing to spend some bucks.

The important thing to notice is that the PlayStation Network is still free to join and the features remain the same. But the PlayStation Plus is the new online service that offers the above mentioned offers.
