A major internet blackout is about to occur from this Monday. Thousands of internet users will not be able to access into the web whose computers are affected by a special piece of virus. The federal Bureau of Investigation has decided to shut down servers to stop spreading of this malicious software. Turning these servers off will keep all the affected the machines offline. The DNSChanger has affected four millions computers over the past few years. The virus mainly comes into your computer when you choose to visit a malicious advertisement. Last November FBI along with some of their foreign partners have arrested a group of people responsible for this and warned the affected users to get rid of this virus. However back then FBI did not take down those servers but the affected computers lost internet access.
These servers were supposed to be shut down by March but many computers remained affected by this malware so they had to extend the date to July.
