Verizon Will Soon Reveal “Its next generation of Droid” In US

Verizon Droid announcementTuesday Verizon Wireless issued an invitation of a Press Meet which will be held in New York City. At this event they will officially announce the next launch of their latest Droid handset for the Verizon Wireless network. In that very event we will see some renowned players of cell phone industries as chief guests including Verizon Wireless’ marketing chief, John Stratton; Motorola Co-CEO Sanjay Jha, Google’s lead Android architect Andy Rubin; and Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen.

Based on the list of speakers, we can make several anticipations on the latest announcement of Verizon Wireless. First, the device will be manufactured by Motorola (not HTC). Second, since Adobe’s CEO will be present at the event, the device will likely to ship with Android 2.2 Froyo and come with Flash Player 10.1 installed. Though the invitation doesn’t unveil any details about the device itself, so we have to wait till Wednesday, June 23 when the Press Meet will take place in New York City.
