The First day of Marissa Mayer at Yahoo office was a challenging one as the quarterly financial report came in. The newly appointed Yahoo chief executive faced a basic financial problem- the yearly revenue and net income of the year is stalled at the same level as it was in the last year. Even though Yahoo managed a comprehensive amount of audiences who are interested to know about Yahoo through advertisement, but that was not enough to keep advertisers interested in Yahoo and they are looking elsewhere.
However in Thursday, once in a long time, people had shown real interest in Yahoo as the former chief executive of Google joins Yahoo core team. The reason is Yahoo has hired a person who used to lead the company that left Yahoo in the corner. All analysts and shareholders are keen to see how Ms. Mayer handles advertisers and how she brings morale into the company because if anything yahoo is in need of that would be the company morale.
