Retina Display MacBook For Cheaper Price

Retina Display MacBook This morning, Apple silently lowered the price of its MacBook Pro laptop lineup equipped with Retina Display and at the same time provided those with a boosted processor.

Retina MacBook Pro with the 13 inch displays from now on will cost $1499 with a $200 drop. The same model with 256 GB storage holds a price tag of $1699, $300 less than the previous rate. The $1699 laptop now features a dual core Intel Core i5 with an updated clock speed of 2.6 GHz from 2.5 GHz while the $1499 model still offers the 2.5 GHz chip and 128 GB flash memory.

The 15 inch Retina MacBook Pro costing $2199 now runs on a 2.4 GHz quad core processor (originally 2.3 GHz), also uses RAM of 8GB. And the model costing $2799 now comes with 2.7 GHz processor (previously 2.6 GHz) and 16 GB of RAM (doubled).

The MacBook Air lineup has also seen a price reduction. The 256 GB model with 13 inch Retina screen is now selling at $1399 a piece.

In today’s market, not a whole lot of people can get their hands on the MacBook Pro or the MacBook Air laptops. Also, the tablet business is cutting into the MacBook revenue. That’s why Apple initiated this scheme.
