Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – The Best Multiplayer and an Exhilarating Campaign

The Call of Duty series is one of the biggest franchises in the gaming industry, and with the latest game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Activision aims no less. Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, it was released on November 13, 2012 and was initially launched for Wii U.

The story takes place in two separate arcs; one which takes players through the events of 1980s, while the other one follows them in 2025.

In 2025, US Special Forces led by David Mason and his partner Mike Harper arrive at a top-security location and that is where they meet Frank Woods. He is suspected of possessing vital information on the whereabouts of Raul Menendez, the main antagonist in the game. Woods admitted that Menendez came to meet him and showed them a locket he left behind. He then narrates several missions that were carried out during his military career, which span their previous encounters.

In 1986, Alex Mason had retired from duty so he could pursue an unknown existence in Alaska with his seven-year-old son, David. Their shaky relationship was further damaged when Jason Hudson wanted to recruit him for an assignment.

Black Ops 2 is the first game in the series to feature a non-linear branching storyline, in which the player’s actions change the course of both the current mission and the overall story. The storylines, known as “Strike Force Missions”, appear in the 2025 campaign. Choosing one mission locks out other missions, unless players begin a fresh campaign. If a player dies during a strike force mission, the campaign continues while recording it as a loss. The player’s actions may also affect the plans of the main antagonist, Raul Menendez.

The Zombies mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops returns. Zombies appear in the game, apart from the survival mode, and run on the game’s multiplayer engine to allow a better community experience.

The multiplayer element of the game takes place in a future setting of 2025. The developer has fully revamped the multiplayer gameplay; ‘Create-a-Class’ has been changed to a 10-point system in which the player is given 10 points to spend weapons, attachments and perks. The game also introduces ‘Wildcards’ which enables players to break the rules of Create-a-Class by having more than three attachments on their primary weapon, two perks of the first tier or more lethal grenades. The ‘Playercard’, which displays a player’s Calling Cards, Emblem, Clan Tags and current level, also makes a return in the game. The ‘Emblem Editor’ is also improved with the addition of 32 layers, a RGB scaler and transparency. If you’re looking for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Crack, it’s also available now.

Black Ops 2 surely seems to be amazing with all the new features and improvements, and I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes first-person shooter games. What do you think about the game? Will you be getting it? Share with us in the comments section below.
