Become a Quick Reader with Spritz

Can you read 220 to 1000 wpm? Do you want to be a quick reader?  Samsung Gear 2 comes with Spritz – an app that promises to boost your reading speed up to 1,000 words per minute.  Spritz has been designed while considering ‘Optimal Recognition Point’ (ORP) technology to help you focus on specific words. Streaming attention on key letter of each word is called “Redicle” that helps avoid wandering of your eyes; hence processing and understanding text becomes simple.

Specially designed for the small screens of wearable devices, Spritz is ideal for reading emails, websites and messages. Moreover, built-in proprietary algorithms determine the time to show words and sentences on screen. The app working with Samsung smartwatch has also got immense appreciation at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Though Spritz is not the first app of its kind, RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) is already working for Android and iOS but Spritz has an edge over others as it avoids refocusing on the words. Unlike traditional modes of reading and attached inconveniences, Spritz needs no scrolling and panning.

The Spritz reading application for Samsung S5 and Gear 2 will hopefully extend its usage on a bigger scale. I personally took a few minutes to get use to this app and observed a difference in my traditional reading speed.
