Motorola XT701 Android on Chinese Stores

With the coming of 2010, the cell phone market has taken a turn towards Google’s Android platform. Many companies came up with phones and tablets running on Android. Motorola’s Motoroi, an android model saw Korean launch, and now the Company has announced the Chinese launch of XT701, seemingly a clone of the Motoroi. But, Guys! This is the very first Android mobile to have landed on the shelves of China Unicom. Motorola XT701 gave its first appearance in December 2010, and many of the cell phone lovers got attracted to its impressive design and specs.

Motorols’s XT701 runs on Android 2.0 and 600 Mhz TI OMAP 3430 processor. Its other features include a 3.7-inch 480×854 WVGA touchscreen, 802.11 b/g WIFI/WAPI for internet browsing, 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. Its 5-megapixel camera will let you get good quality snapshots of your precious moments and you can plug in your headphone in its 3.5mm headphone jack to listen to music.

Now, the Company has put up this cell phone for sale on their official website and you can get it by shelling out 4,299 Yuan (i.e. $632 USD). Just be sure to place a pre-order as this phone will be in limited edition.
