HTC Smart Making Way To Indian Market

My experience with HTC phones is good. The reason being, not just the looks are great but the cell phone doesn’t restart itself like many smart phones. So, the launch of HTC Smart is obviously news to cherish for HTC fans like me. But, guys let me tell you that this is actually a non smart phone from HTC. It was also called Touch.B and due to its resemblance with normal phones, it was also thought to be dumb phone. It is said that the Taiwan manufactured model of HTC called as ‘Smart’, known to be the company’s very first BREW based model is getting ready to rock and roll in the Indian market. And you can expect this model to appear by the end of March 2010.

Even if this is not a smartphone, the company has high hopes with it as it got clean chit at the CES 2010 for its good specs, even while the Wi-fi and GPS capabilities are not there. This cell phone is designed for the mass population of India and not just the selected elite customers. This 108 gms phone would feature 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 3.5mm headset jack, 3MP camera with flash, HTC ExtUSB (11-pin mini-USB 2.0), 300 MHz processor, 256MB ROM and 256MB RAM and MicroSD card support. As far as its price is concerned, it will be under Rs. 10, 000.
