Samsung Galaxy Nexus Silenced By Bug

Samsung Galaxy Nexus BugIt seems that Vodafone was doing the right job in holding off the release of the Galaxy Nexus. The Android operated Ice Cream Sandwich Smartphone, released last week, is suffering annoying situations triggered by bug.

The so called bug drops the audio volume of the handset automatically. The phone gets silent suddenly without any warning. Many owners have spent the weekend complaining about the trouble.

Others grumbled about the becoming unresponsive of the volume key, and sometimes the power key also without ant notice.

Handset hardly appears as affected by these types of bugs. On the other hand, the consensus depicts that the bug functions only when the Galaxy Nexus gets operated in 900MHz  for 2G communications. The band is very commonly used one in Europe.

Galaxy owners not experiencing the bug have not gone through the same situations.

Very often low signal strength exacerbates the problem.

Meanwhile, Vodafone has confirmed that it did test the ICS handsets with its own software.
